2024 NZ Handball Club Championship Winners

This year’s national club championship was the biggest ever! There were 17 teams and 240 players that congregated in Wellington for the tournament. It was great to see 5 teams from Australia join the New Zealand teams in this celebration of handball.

The success of the tournament is due to the huge effort of Tournament Director Billie Gruschow, her team from Wellington Handball and the referees coordinated by Antoine Desnos, Gaston Fuso and Ezer Handelsman. Special thanks to the tournament photographer Aaron Bell, covering the entire championship and providing fantastic images of the games.

We would like to thank all the teams for making the tournament a success. And we hope to see you again next year.

We would also like to acknowledge the sponsors and supporters of the tournament - Wellington City Council, Goethe Institut Neuseeland, Brentwood Hotel, Trinity Group, Maori Arts Gallery and Ākau Tangi Sports Centre.
