NZ Handball is calling for expressions of interest for girls born after 1st January 2008, for the Under 17 Beach Handball World Champs in Tunisia in 2025. NZ has received a provisional qualification into this tournament (subject to final confirmation from the IHF expected in the coming weeks).
We are looking for female athletes with beach handball experience or experience in sports with transferable skills (such as waterpolo, basketball, rugby). If you have any questions contact us for more information.
WHEN: 17th - 22nd June 2025.
WHERE: Tunisia
WHO: Open to Players who are born after the 1st of January 2008
COSTS: This tournament will be player funded. We will be organising fundraising opportunities and applying for grants to help with these costs.
WHAT’S INVOLVED: Regular Training Camps, attendance at National Tournaments, fitness testing, culture and tactics sessions as well as team fundraising events.
