The NZHF is delighted to announce the appointment of Frederic Han as the head coach of the New Zealand senior men’s national team, along with his assistant coach Antoine Desnos. Being originally from France, Fred has over 30 years of handball playing and coaching experience worldwide.
Fred started with the NZHF by coaching children in 2014. Additionally, he helped coach the seniors in our first campaign of the AHF championship in 2018 in South Korea. Furthermore, he was the most recent head coach for the New Zealand Men’s National team during their 2020 campaign to Kuwait.
Overall, we believe Fred and his team will use their experience and passion to greatly boost the skills of the men's team in the next campaign.
