We have strong youth activity and school leagues set up in Wellington, Canterbury and Otago, and over the past year have supported a Youth Development manager working in Auckland to establish handball in several schools. Developing our Youth Handball is essential to developing the sport in NZ and we think the time is right to offer this tournament. We hope all regions will get behind this competition and support the growth of our sport.
